This story is about Jack and the Beanstalk.<\/span><\/p>\n

Once upon a time there was a boy called Jack. He lived with his mother. They were very poor. All they had was a cow. Jack was very lazy, he never did any work. As time went by jack and his widow mother became poorer and poorer. One summer day,\u00a0 Jack’s mother decided to finally sell the cow because she did not give any milk. Jack’s mother asked Jack to take their cow to market and sell her.<\/span><\/p>\n

Jack took the cow<\/a> and set out for the market. but as he was on his way, he met and old man.The old man asked where Jack was going with the cow.”I am going to the market to sell her”.Jack replied.The old man took a piece of cloth from his pocket and showed Jack five beans.The old man told Jack that they are magical beans and are of great value.The old man said”If you plant the beans tonight, they will grow into the sky by tomorrow morning”.<\/span><\/p>\n

Jack took the beans for the cow and went back home.When he reached home, he showed the magical beans to his mother.When Jack\u2019s mother saw the beans instead of money,she was very angry.She threw the beans out of the window and scolded Jack for his folly.She sent Jack to his bed without dinner.<\/span><\/p>\n

The next morning when Jack got up,he looked out of the window. There was a giant beanstalk.It went up in the sky.Without wasting any time, Jack quickly began climbing.He climbed and climbed until he reached the sky.There he found a castle with a large women standing at the door.<\/span><\/p>\n

The old women told Jack to run as fast as he could if he does not want to become breakfast of his husband who liked nothing better than fried little boys for breakfast.<\/span><\/p>\n

Jack was scared but he could was too hungry to go back.Jack asked the women if he can hide him from his husband and give him some food.The\u00a0 old women let Jack in the castle and gave him food.<\/span><\/p>\n

While he was eating, the giant came home. The giant was very big and looked very fearsome. Jack was terrified and went and hid inside. The giant cried, \u201cFee-fi-fo-fum, I smell the blood of an Englishman. Be he alive, or be he dead, I\u2019ll grind his bones to make my bread!\u201d The wife said, \u201cThere is no boy in here!\u201d So, the giant ate his food and then went to his room. He took out his sacks of gold coins, counted them and kept them aside. Then he went to sleep.<\/span><\/p>\n

In the night, Jack crept out of his hiding place, took one sack of gold coins and climbed down the beanstalk. At home, he gave the coins to his mother. His mother was very happy and they lived well for sometime.<\/span><\/p>\n

At last, the bag of gold coins came to the end of it. Jack made up his mind to try his luck once more at the top of the beanstalk. So one fine morning he disguised himself so that the women would not recognize him and got onto the beanstalk, and he climbed, and climbed, and climbed, and climbed, and climbed, and he climbed until at last he came out onto the road again and up to the great tall house he had been to before. There, sure enough, was the great tall woman a-standing on the doorstep.<\/span><\/p>\n

Jack asked the women \u201ccould you be so good as to give me something to eat?\u201dThe women let Jack in the castle and gave him some food, but while he was eating the giant returned. Jack leapt up in fright and went and hid under the bed. The giant cried, \u201cFee-fifo-fum, I smell the blood of an Englishman. Be he alive, or be he dead, I\u2019ll grind his bones to make my bread!\u201d The wife said, \u201cThere is no boy in here!\u201d The giant ate his food and went to his room. There, he took out a hen. He shouted, \u201cLay!\u201d and the hen laid a golden egg. When the giant fell asleep, Jack took the hen and climbed down the beanstalk. Jack\u2019s mother was very happy with him.<\/span><\/p>\n

After some days, Jack once again climbed the beanstalk and went to the giant\u2019s castle. For the third time, Jack met the giant\u2019s wife and asked for some food. Once again, the giant\u2019s wife gave him bread and milk. But while Jack was eating, the giant came home. \u201cFee-fi-fo-fum, I smell the blood of an Englishman. Be he alive, or be he dead, I\u2019ll grind his bones to make my bread!\u201d cried the giant. \u201cDon\u2019t be silly! There is no boy in here!\u201d said his wife.<\/span><\/p>\n

The giant had a magical harp that could play beautiful songs. While the giant slept, Jack took the harp and was about to leave. Suddenly, the magic harp cried, \u201cHelp master! A boy is stealing me!\u201d The giant woke up and saw Jack with the harp. Furious, he ran after Jack. But Jack was too fast for him. He ran down the beanstalk and reached home. The giant followed him down. Jack quickly ran inside his house and fetched an axe. He began to chop the beanstalk. The giant fell and died.<\/span><\/p>\n
