Once there was an elephant,<\/span>
\nWho tried to use the telephant\u2014<\/span>
\nNo! No! I mean an elephone<\/span>
\nWho tried to use the telephone\u2014<\/span><\/p>\n

(Dear me! I am not certain quite<\/span>
\nThat even now I\u2019ve got it right.)<\/span>
\nHowe\u2019er it was, he got his trunk<\/span>
\nEntangled in the telephunk;<\/span><\/p>\n

The more he tried to get it free,<\/span>
\nThe louder buzzed the telephee\u2014<\/span>
\n(I fear I\u2019d better drop the song<\/span>
\nOf elephop and telephong!)<\/span><\/p>\n
