Pakpattan police claimed to have arrested the gang leader, police constable Imran and his accomplice Mahvish Bibi for blackmailing wealthy businessmen and extorting money from them by making objectionable videos. The inter-district gang consisting of about 17 members including five women was involved in blackmailing by making friendships through phone calls and then trapping their victims through sex videos. This gang was active in Pakpattan and Sahiwal for about two years.
