Gilgit-Baltistan Chief Minister Muhammad Khalid Khurshid Khan called on Prime Minister Imran Khan

Chief Minister GB Khalid Khurshid khan met Prime Minister Imran khan today. During the first meeting, development and promotion of tourism in Gilgit-Baltistan, provision of maximum employment opportunities for the local people in this industry, special focus on eco-friendly tourism, protection of glaciers and forests were discussed in detail.

The Prime Minister said that the northern areas of Pakistan and especially Gilgit-Baltistan are the most beautiful and suitable areas in the world in terms of tourism which are rich in natural beauty and can be fully utilized by providing modern facilities.

The Chief Minister also apprised the Prime Minister about the skiing competitions to be organized by the Gilgit-Baltistan government next February. The meeting also discussed the steps taken to take full advantage of the mineral deposits in Gilgit and development plans for the local people.
