President of international think tank Institute of Peace and Development INSPAD Dr Muhammad Tahir Tabassum has said that Kashmiris have been given the right to self-determination by the United Nations which has not been implemented in the last seventy three years.

Kashmiris have sacrificed three generations for this right and are still determined to achieve freedom of homeland. In a statement on the occasion of Right to Self-Determination Day, he said that if Kashmir had been a part of Europe or oil was flowing here, when would the Kashmir issue have been resolved easily.

He said that Kashmir dispute was an incomplete agenda for the partition of the subcontinent and without its peaceful resolution peace in the region impossible. Giving Kashmiris the right to self-determination in the light of UN resolutions is an urgent need of the hour, otherwise the situation could spiral out of control at any time, for which India and its allies will be responsible.

Dr Tahir Tabassum has said that the martyrdom of three Kashmiri youths in a fake incounter is very unfortunate. The United Nations, OIC, EU and international human rights organizations should take immediate notice.
Attempts to deprive the farmers of Indian Punjab of their rights are part of the agenda of Hindutva and the RSS. If these problems not solve urgent then no body stop Khalistan and many others separated movements in India.
