Many events are the reason for death. The death can be natural, due to a disease or due to accidents. The most forbidden death is suicide. People commit suicide due to many reasons like poverty, disbelief in the happiness of life, some unhappy events of life, debt, and tiredness of this cruel world. If we have money or we are popular or we are happy, still, there are chances that we can commit suicide. It may be due to many happenings but the most favorable reason is the tiredness from living life.

Such is the case for the famous Indian actor Sushant Singh Rajput.

Life of Sushant Singh Rajput

Sushant Singh Rajput was an Indian actor, dancer, industrialist, and a generous donor. He was born on 21 January 1986 and committed suicide on 14 June 2020 at the age of 34 years and 4 months. He was born in Patna. He was the son of Krishna Kumar Singh and Ushna Singh. His sister, Mitu Singh, is a state-level cricketer. Ushna Singh died in 2002 and left Sushant in a terrible shock. In the same year, 2002, the Singh family moved from Patna to New Delhi.

Famous actor Sushant attended St. Karen’s High School which is situated in Patna. After moving to New Delhi, he attended Kulachi Hansraj Model School. In 2003, he ranked 7th in the DCE Entrance Exam. He gained admission to the Bachelor of Engineering class in the Delhi College of Engineering. In Physics, he was a winner of the National Olympiad. Although he had an excellent record in education, he rarely had time to study after joining the entertainment industry. To follow his passion for acting, he completed only three out of four courses in DCE and left education. After that, he devoted himself fully to his career.

Professional Career of Sushant Singh Rajput

Early years

When Sushant was a student at Delhi Technological University, he joined Shiamak Davar’s Dance classes. When he came to know that a few of his fellow students in dance classes are interested in acting and also that they were attending Barry John’s drama classes, the idea of becoming an actor came to his mind. Later on, he joined the drama classes. After coming to the drama classes, he found his passion for acting.

According to Sushant, “I found the experience liberating. I realized that I could communicate with the audience. I knew I wanted to do this forever.”

Films

In 2013, Sushant played the role of Ishaan Butt in the film Koi Po Che! The director of this movie was Abhishek Kapoor. He won the Best Male Debut Award and was nominated for the best actor in a leading role by the Producers Guild Film Award for the movie Koi Po Che! For the same movie, he won the award of Best Male Debut from Screen Awards.

In the same year, he acted in the movie Suddh Desi Romance and played the role of Raghu Ram. This movie was directed by Manish Sharma.

Sushant Singh

In 2014, Sushant played the role of Sarfraz Yousaf in the most famous movie PK directed by Rajkumar Hirani.

In 2015, he acted in the movie Detective Byomkesh Bakshay directed by Dibakar Banerjee. In this movie, he played the role of Detective Byomkesh Bakshay.

In 2016, Sushant played the role of Mahendra Singh Dhoni in the famous movie M.S Dhoni: The Untold Story. This movie was directed by Neeraj Panday. He won the Best Actor (Critics) from Screen Awards. He also won the Best Actor award from the Indian Film Festival of Melbourne. He was nominated for many awards: Best Actor from Film fare Awards, Best Male Actor from Zee Cine Awards, and Best Actor from Stardust Awards and Best Male Actor from International Indian Film Academy Awards.

He took part in many movies including Rabta (2017), Welcome to New York (2018), Kedarnath (2018), Sonchiriya (2019), Chhichhore (2019), and Drive (2019). His 2020 movie “Dil Bechara” is yet to release.

Television Work

Besides films, Sushant also took part in dramas which made a bit hit in the Indian drama industry.

In 2008-2009, he acted in the drama Kis Desh Main Hai Dil Mera.

In 2009-2011, he played the role of Manav Deshmukh in drama serial Pavitra Rishta.  For this drama, he won many awards including Most Popular Actor Male from Indian Television Academy Awards, Best Television Actor Male from Big Star Entertainment Awards, 2 Best Actor in a Lead Role from Boroplus Gold Awards and Favorite Actor Male from Kalakar Awards. He was nominated for Most Popular Actor Male from Indian Telly Awards,

In 2010, he played the role of a contestant for the notes of Team “Mast Kalandar Boys” in the show Zara Nachke Dikha.

In 2010-2011, he played the role of a contestant for the notes Runner-up in the show Jalak Dikhla Jaa 4.

In 2017, he released his only music video. This was for the song “Pass Aao” sung by Armaan Malik and Prakriti Kakar. This song was composed by Amaal Malik. He played this music video with Kriti Sanon.

Suicide of Sushant Singh Rajput

The actor Sushant Singh was found hanging with a ceiling fan at his Bandra residence in Mumbai. According to Mumbai Police, they are investigating the death of the 34-year-old actor as a case of suicide.

According to the reports, Sushant had spoken with his sister around 9 am on Sunday. An hour later, he had a glass of juice and took his tablets. The report also says that the cook knocked on the door many times around 11:30 to verify the menu for lunch. The police added that the two friends of the actor were staying with him at his house. When there was no response, the cook and two friends called the key maker to break the lock, and then they saw his dead body hanging with the fan.

Then, the friends rang up with his sister and the police.

Prime Minister of India Narendra Modi grieves on the death of a young actor on the microblogging platform, offering his condolence on the demise of “a bright young actor gone so soon”.

B-town went into shock as the news of his death was confirmed. From industry colleagues to friends and fans who started furiously posting pictures with the late actor, everyone recalled their memories and association. Film-maker Kunal Kapoor was one of the first ones to take to Twitter and he recalled having met the actor just before the lockdown began, and found the news of his death as incredulous.
