Lord Nazir Ahmed, a member of the British House of Lords, He strongly condemned the army’s terrorism and said that the Kashmiri leadership could not be intimidated by such clever tactics. Member National Assembly and Member Kashmir Parliamentary Committee Mrs Noreen Ibrahim Khan, Member Azad Kashmir Assembly Naseema Wani, Religious scholar and President of Jamaat-e-Ahl-e-Haram Pakistan Mufti Gulzar Ahmad Naeemi, Chairman of Saduzai Lohia Jirga Dr. Sardar Muhammad Kaleem Khan International Harmony Council Chairman Dr Khurshid Ahmed Chaudhry and Institute of Peace and Development INSPAD President Dr Muhammad Tahir Tabassum have lamented the Indian Army’s heinous act and termed it open terrorism against the Hurriyat leadership. These leaders have said that India should know that its dream of peace and development in the region will never come true without giving the Kashmiri people the right to self-determination and if it abandons its arbitrary efforts and acknowledges the ground realities. Goodness. These leaders further said that Kashmir issue is an internationally recognized dispute and there are UN Security Council resolutions on it. The tactics to intimidate the Kashmiri leadership are very old but we salute the fearless leaders who have more than one million Indian troops. They have called on the United Nations, EU, OIC to take steps to ensure the release of the Kashmiri leadership and the safety of their lives. Attacks and illegal activities must be stopped in IOJK.
